PRE Financial Services Career

Allied Health Early Career:

I Started my early career life in Allied Health industry in Physical Therapy field.
I used to work as freelancer (private sessions) from 1999; directly after my graduation from Health Institute in Damascus (Syria)
To improve my knowledge and experience, I continued my studies and part time work in Egypt.
After achieving my Bachelor degree, I went to Kuwait to live with my big family and find a better quality of life.

First Big Change:

I used to follow Economic news and ask deep questions about monitory and financial systems from my younger stage in secondary school.
An opportunity rose to me in Kuwait to have a chance to work in a big brokerage firm in Kuwait Stock Exchange. It was like a dream to get into this mysterious and attractive industry, especially after I discovered that Kuwaiti rules do not give a great chance for foreigners to work in Physical Therapy.

I can say that I found the space in financial services industry much more wider and attractive than in physical therapy.

Experience:
From 1999 - 2004

I practiced physical therapy in wide range of Damascus (Syria) and Great Cairo (Egypt) hospitals.
I kept working part or full time as freelancer in private sessions, and had professional relations and cooperation with various health care professions.

Education:

Health Science Institute Associate's degree, Physical Therapy Technician/Assistant. Grade: Very Good 1997 – 1999
I tried to develop myself in parallel through some few English resources to have more solid information, as our studies was more practical than theoretical, and in Arabic language.

October 6 University Bachelor's degree, Physical Therapy/Therapist, Grade: Excellent 1999 – 2002
Studying after more than a year of practice gave me the ability to treat the new knowledge practically and critically.
